DIY Crochet Hook Storage

Are you like me and you feel you need a million crochet hooks in order to feel satisfied? And do you also need a way to store them?

I used to store my crochet hooks in a plastic baggy when I first started as well as my knitting loom hooks and holes were constantly being made. So I went ahead and looked for a crafty way to store them.

For this DIY you will need:
- 1 old container
- a hook (I used a 5.5mm but you can use what you would like)
- yarn (I used size 4/medium cotton yarn from sugar and cream in Lilac)
- scissors

The instructions are fairly simple. What I did was measure the height of my continer and chained enough to match the height. Then I single crocheted the entire thing until I got it to the needed size. When I brought the ends together to seam it I put bother ends together and slip stitched the two parts together.

After it was finished I went ahead and put it in my container and it fit! I'm super happy with how this turned out and I hope it helps if you have a hard time coming up with a way to organize your hooks.

I'd love to see what you did so post it to instagram (@alannahscraftycreations) and use #alannahscraftycreations as well. Don't be afraid to comment requests below or anything really.

Until next time,
Alannah
